This branding project was for The Squirrels - a basketball team in Fayetteville Ar. The goal was to create a sports style logo that felt both quick, strong, and intimidating. I included sans-serif fonts to imply the modernity but also to give the look of strength. The logo also had to work well large or small.  This was acomplished with simplified and minimal forms. The color palette was inspired by many items in the baketball world as well as squirrels in nature. Orange is a warm color that advances, moves forward, and evokes an intimidating feeling.
